Aromatherapy has many benefits including but not limited to reduceing anxiety, easing depression, boosting energy levels, eliminate headaches, boost cognitive performance, induce sleep, and many more.
Aromatherapy can be used with your artwork. It is real simple to do. Take a look at the artwork surrounding you. Is it mainly florals, beach secenes, or abstract pieces? Next take a look at or think of your essential oils. What you are doing is getting a scent that matches your artwork.
For example if you have a picture of trees you can use cedarwood, or another woody smelling essential oil. Add this to your diffuser and let the scent take you away into the artwork.
You also can play soft music during this time. I would suggest using music that reminds you of your artwork, that helps take you into your artwork. Find music of wind through the trees or the sounds of a forest. By doing so you are using your senses of smell, sight, and hearing.
The next time you look at the artwork, you will remember the scent of the oil you burned and the music you played. As a result, this allows you to look at your artwork and mentally reap the benefits of your aromatherapy, without using the scent.
It’s a simple way to help create a healthy living space for your emotional and mental well being. The artwork you hang on your wall, the music your listen to, and the scents you burn in your home all help to create a wholesome healthy living space.
